Jennifer graduated in 2005 from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts with a concentration on Ceramics. While art has always been an outlet for creativity for Jennifer it wasn't until after the birth of her first child that the chalk bug hit. What started out as a way to play with her children, turned into a true passion. With a love of everything antique, a lot of her inspiration comes from historical advertisements and vintage fonts and typography. She is highly skilled hand-letterer.
When not playing with chalk or trying to entertain her kids, she enjoys playing board games, knitting, sewing and reading; all with a good cup of coffee.
Jennifer is one of the founding members of The Ohio Chalk Art Guild. The Ohio Chalk Art Guild works with artists and organizations, in and around Ohio to promote the large format chalk art medium. Since it's formation at the beginning of 2017, the OCAG has participated in various festivals and events all over Ohio, including the Columbus Arts Festival, The German Village Haus und Garten Tour, and various other private events.
